About the course

This 30 minute online course will arm you with the tools you need to begin tackling the basic techniques of lettering on a mirrored surface. From table numbers to seating charts to welcome signs, mirrors have become the preferred way to communicate information. They can be elegant for weddings, but also functional for businesses. This course focuses on some of the steps needed to execute a seating chart.

About the teacher

Christy Toney

Christy is a Chicago native who's been poking around weddings since as early as '04. Formally...

Christy is a full-time wedding calligrapher living and working in Chicago. She is the founder of Calligraphy by CT (formerly CT-Designs), and has a decades long background in art, with a B.A. from Columbia College (Chicago).

She has also received professional training from Chicago's Art Institute, The American Academy of Art and The Palette and Chisel. She teaches modern calligraphy workshops and also conducts one on one teaching sessions.
