Christy is a Chicago native who's been poking around weddings since as early as '04. Formally since '07 and as a full time pursuit since '11. She is a calligrapher and hand lettering artist.
Christy is a full-time wedding calligrapher living and working in Chicago. She is the founder of Calligraphy by CT (formerly CT-Designs), and has a decades long background in art, with a B.A. from Columbia College (Chicago).
She has also received professional training from Chicago's Art Institute, The American Academy of Art and The Palette and Chisel. She teaches modern calligraphy workshops and also conducts one on one teaching sessions.
